SideWalk is an evidence-supported, volunteer driven, local non-profit working to end homelessness in Thurston County. We have successfully helped secure housing for more than 800 people experiencing homelessness in the past five years. More than 300 of those individuals moved off the streets in 2016 alone. Last year we launched a Veteran Advocacy Program that has successfully housed 60 homeless veterans.
In 2017, SideWalk will focus even more closely on the most vulnerable members of our community, alongside our community partners and supporters. At South Puget Sound Community College on March 30th, 2017, SideWalk will host our annual fundraising gala to end homelessness.
Love for a Change 2017 will be an evening to remember; it will be an evening of impact. You have the opportunity to support SideWalk's mission. Hosted by Elizabeth Lord and Lauren O'Neill, the evening will feature red carpet photography, cocktails, raffle prizes worth winning and a specially prepared meal. We hope that you will choose to get involved in this awesome community event!
