500 People Housed!

SideWalk friends, we've got something big to celebrate with you today. WE HOUSED OUR 500TH CLIENT LAST NIGHT! That's 500 people who are no longer living on the streets, or in cars, or camping in the woods.

SideWalk is seeking a VISTA Development Officer!

The Development Officer will establish and maintain systems to maximize our fundraising capacity and streamline the incorporation of volunteers and community members in our fundraising efforts.

Volunteer Spotlight: Bernie Friedman

Bernie Friedman began working for SideWalk in September of 2014. Working as a Sunday school teacher for the past twenty five years, encouraging his students to go out and get involved in causes they were passionate about, Bernie felt that when it came to working for change he was “talking the talk, but not walking the walk.” Bernie first heard about SideWalk at his Jewish temple, and when he learned about SideWalk’s success rate, he was inspired to get involved.
